Since its inception, Russian Seasons has been discovering new names in fashion and design. In 2025, we will organize the first Russian Seasons Arabia festival in Dubai and announce an international competition for young designers.

The Russian Seasons contest for young designers is supported by Vogue Russia. In different years the jury of the competition includes Masha Fedorova, editor-in-chief of Vogue Russia, Alla Verber, vice-president of Mercury and fashion director of TSUM, architect Sergey Choban and others.

The finalist's collection is purchased by the TsUM Trade House, and the first international showcase “Russian Seasons” is opened on eBay, presenting clothes, accessories, tableware, interior items and décor from the contestants.

ABOUT THE CONTEST

“Russian Seasons” organizes the Seasons Tech program to support young innovators with the support of Innopraktika, the participation of the Moscow Export Center, the Lomonosov Moscow State University Graduate School of Business and other organizations.

The Russian Seasons festival brings together designers, fashion experts and artisans at a round table at the Four Seasons Hotel and launches the trend of rethinking Russian craft traditions in contemporary design.

2015

The pop-up exhibition “Russian Seasons” in TSUM presents the works of 10 contestants, created in collaboration with the oldest handicraft factories in Russia.

2017

The contest task is to create an image reflecting modern trends and the national cultural code of one's own or chosen country.

We don't limit participants in their choice of method and tools to create an image. The contest work can be made in any of the categories – from clothing and accessories to interior items, art or architectural models.

As part of the Russian Seasons Arabia 2025 festival, we announce an international contest for young designers.

The finalists of the contest will be shot in Marie Claire magazine and invited to take part in the Russian Seasons Arabia festival in 2026.

1. The contest is open to both professional and novice designers of clothing and accessories, students of specialized educational institutions from all countries.

2. One person or a group of people united by one project can participate in the contest.

3. There are no age restrictions in the contest.

4. Contest application should be submitted in free form to info@ruseasons.com with the remark “Contest” or filled out on the contest website ruseasons.com/contest with a PDF presentation of one image, several images or a collection attached to it.

5. A physical product or group of products is a condition of entering the competition at the shortlisting stage.

6. The organizing committee of the Russian Seasons Arabia Festival reserves the right to refuse participation to any person without giving any reason at any of the stages.

7. Participation in the competition does not provide for the placement on the site of the festival Russian Seasons Arabia 2025 works of the contestants. Contestants wishing to place their products on the festival site must register for the festival separately on the official festival page https://en.ruseasons.com/arabia and pay a technical fee.
